- Wash the leaves remove the long stems. Add salt to the water and boil.
- Do this in batches. Add a few leaves to the boiling water for 30 seconds remove and allow to cool.
- Take 5 leaves and stack them. Roll them up and place standing up in the jar. Repeat till done.
- Boil the lemon juice and water in a pot. Pour the liquids over the leaves. Leave a bit of space at the top but cover the leaves by 1/2 inch.
- Put the lid on and let cool to seal, or put into the refrigerator after its cooled.
