The ingredients needed to make Mango Instant Pickle:
- Take 4 medium Sour mangoes
- Make ready 50 g Mustard seeds
- Prepare 12 Garlic cloves
- Get 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Make ready 3 tbsp salt
- Take 4 tbsp red chilli powder
Instructions to make Mango Instant Pickle:
- Firstly dry mustard seeds under sunlight for 2 to 3 hours.
- Take a bowl and pour water in it. Then immerse mangoes in water for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Take out from sunlight and blend mustard seeds into fine paste.
- Later rinse mangoes thoroughly and remove gummy layer if any.
- Pat dry with a clean cloth.
- Cut the sides vertically and make into small pieces.
- Take the mango pieces into a bowl,add turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder and mustard powder and mix well.
- Then add sufficient oil and give a smooth mix.
- Finely add garlic cloves.
- Let it keep aside for a day and next day give again a smooth mix with a dry spoon.
- Enjoy it with hot rice and ghee.
