Instructions to make Breadsticks and Yeast Rolls:
  1. Mix 1 cup hot water, yeast, oil, salt, and sugar. Stir. Let sit 10 minutes. Mix the salt and flour.
  2. Add the flour to the yeast mixture. Mix and knead till no liquids are present. Now finish with the second cup of hot water. Oil the dough and allow to rise for 1-1/2 hours.
  3. Punch the dough and split the dough in half. Let rise 45 minutes. With half the dough roll the breadsticks between your two hands. Set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Preheat oven 350° Fahrenheit. Make the egg wash beat the egg in the water. Roll the dough into little balls. I used cast iron so I preheated it before placing on the cast iron. Bake 18 minutes then brush with the egg wash.
  5. Brush the eggwash on the breadsticks and rolls. On the breadsticks sprinkle kosher salt, garlic, and onion powder. Put back into oven for 5-7 minutes. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
